Clinical Indications
For the evaluation of patients with recurrent infection for
the
possibility of IgA deficiency (IgAD). Patients with IgA
deficiency
may develop antibodies against IgA that make them susceptible
to
adverse reactions to blood products including intravenous
immunoglobulin.
