Uses the therascreen® EGFR RGQ PCR Kit to detect common EGFR variants in exons 18-21 in DNA extracted from FFPE tissue from patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Useful for predicting TKI treatment response in non-small cell lung cancers. The presence of variants in EGFR exons 18-21 has location-dependent implications for TKI treatment response.

Rejection Criteria
FFPE tumor specimen with a tumor percentage < 5 %, or with otherwise inadequate cellular content.
