Useful for managing treatment decisions in a variety of cancers treated with anti-EGFR therapies, most commonly colorectal cancer or non-small cell lung cancer. The presence of KRAS variants in exons 2, 3, and/or 4 is associated with lack of response to tyrosine-kinase inhibitors (TKIs).
