•Cross-reactions are seen with blastomycosis,
paracoccidioidomycosis, penicilliosis, less frequently in
coccidioidomycosis, rarely in aspergillosis and possibly
sporotrichosis.
•Sputolysin, sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide
treatment degrade the analyte detected in the assay.
